This competitive sprit bounds himto opt the risk. It is evident that a risk taker is more successful andleading position holder in the society. Risk as Layman understandsmay be an act where an individual undertakes to earn his livelihood generally the term „risks‟ means a dangerous factor or element ,where an individual put in willingly/unwillingly in that situation.Actually one thing is common to person for risk taking - Successfulentrepreneurs have one thing in common: they are more comfortabletaking risks than most. Improve your risk-taking ability in order toimprove your performance.  Salespeople and managers who consistently perform at a higherlevel have certain things in common. They are committed to theirsuccess, have a passion for their profession, have clear goals and areuniformly more comfortable taking risks than most. Their ability totake intelligent risks is an important ingredient in their success and ahuge determinant in anybody's level of achievement.Kogan & Wallach (1967) described the risk taking behavior onthe basis of kind situation in which it is likely to be elicited. Theystated that behavior reflected of risk taking disposition occurs insituations where there is a desirable goal & lack of certainty that canbe attained.Peoples takes risk in many fields in his life such as  –  hills, space, seacommercial trades, police and intelligence service, fire, professionaltrades, military service . 1.   Risk Taking Behavior in Hills Risky person perform many risky actions such as hilling,mountaineering, rock climbing and many persons participates in manyactions.
