Duron  ANONYMITY  Four-prong test: ã There must exist a real fear for the witnesses’ safety or that of their family ã The witnesses’ testimony must be relevant and of such import that it would hinder the Prosecutor’s case to proceed without it. ã The Court must be satisfied that there exists no prima facie evidence that the witness is untrustworthy. ã If at all possible, the court must determine if less restrictive measures can be utilized to secure the necessary protection on behalf of the witness.
